Work Experience

Under the name Auri, I work as an independent mangaka and illustrator. I develop my own manga projects from the very first idea through story development, character design, and worldbuilding, all the way to the final hand-drawn and digitally edited pages. My work includes my current project Tale of Tengu as well as my first published project Prism Revenge, which was released on Amazon.

In addition, I create selected products such as stickers and art prints based on my illustrations and manga, which I personally package and ship myself.

Milestones

2020

Began drawing and taking first steps as an independent artist.

2023

Started my first manga project, Prism Revenge, and published chapters on Manga Plus Creators. Following a major breakthrough on TikTok with millions of views, I sold my first manga on Amazon.

In the same year, I began working on my current project Tale of Tengu and released its first chapter on Manga Plus Creators.

2024

Traveled to Japan and received professional guidance from experienced manga artists, further developing my artistic style and storytelling skills.

2025

Co-founded the German mangaka collective On Hiatus together with six other German manga artists. Completed the highly anticipated fifth chapter of Tale of Tengu. Established connections with multiple printing companies and successfully produced a printed edition of my manga.

2026

Released the printed manga along with additional accessories through my own self-built website, handling sales, packaging, and shipping personally with great care and attention to detail.
